Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes when and how you can request a refund for a paid Gleamz subscription or one-off purchase. It applies to all customers of Gleamz ("we," "us," or "our") and should be read together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

1. Merchant of Record

Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle") acts as the authorized reseller and Merchant of Record for all Gleamz purchases. This means Paddle — not Gleamz — processes your payment, collects applicable taxes, issues your invoice, and handles refunds and chargebacks. Your transaction is governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms and the Paddle Refund Policy.

2. Statutory Refund Rights

Your refund rights depend on the consumer-protection laws of your country of residence. Where local law grants you a statutory right to withdraw from a digital services contract or cancel a subscription and receive a refund, that right applies in full — nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have.

The specific time windows and conditions that apply to your purchase are set by the laws of your country and by the Paddle Refund Policy. Paddle, as Merchant of Record, processes all eligible refund requests in accordance with those requirements.

3. What Is Not Refundable

Except where your statutory rights say otherwise, the following are generally non-refundable:

  • Renewal charges. Subscription renewals after the first billing period. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid being charged.
  • Partially used periods.We do not pro-rate unused days in a billing period after cancellation — your subscription stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • Add-ons tied to a cancelled subscription. Add-ons end when the parent subscription ends.
  • Accounts terminated for Terms of Use violations, fraud, payment abuse, or chargeback abuse.
  • Third-party marketplace fees. Fees charged by eBay, Depop, or any other external marketplace are not set, collected, or refundable by Gleamz.

Paddle or Gleamz may still, at their sole discretion, grant a refund outside these rules — for example, if a technical fault prevented you from using the Service, or if you were billed in error.

4. How to Request a Refund

You can request a refund in any of the following ways:

  • Use the "Refund" link in the Paddle receipt email you received at the time of purchase.
  • Contact Paddle buyer support through paddle.net with your order ID.
  • Email us at support@gleamz.ai and we will coordinate the refund with Paddle on your behalf.

Please include your order ID (shown on your Paddle receipt), the email address associated with your Gleamz account, and a brief reason for the request.

5. Processing Time

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Paddle typically processes the refund within 14 days of approval. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the funds may take an additional 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

6. Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel a Gleamz subscription at any time from your account settings or through the Paddle subscription-management link in any of your receipt emails. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not automatically issue a refund for the current billing period. If you also want a refund for the current period, submit a refund request as described above.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us at support@gleamz.ai before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Most billing issues can be resolved quickly through a direct refund. Disputed chargebacks may result in suspension of your Gleamz account until the dispute is resolved.

8. Important Distinction

Gleamz is a software tool that helps you list and sell your own second-hand items. This Refund Policy covers subscription fees paid to Gleamz (via Paddle). It does notcover money you receive from, or refund to, buyers on third-party marketplaces such as eBay or Depop — those transactions are governed by the respective marketplace's own policies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
