Terms of Use

Welcome to Gleamz! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Gleamz website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using Gleamz, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. About Gleamz

Gleamz is an AI-powered assistant that helps you create listings, suggest pricing, and communicate with buyers to sell your second-hand items. We aim to make selling easier, but Gleamz is a tool—not a marketplace or payment processor.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or meet the minimum age requirement in your jurisdiction) to use Gleamz. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@gleamz.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. AI-Generated Content

Gleamz uses artificial intelligence to help you create listings. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI Limitations: AI-generated titles, descriptions, pricing suggestions, and buyer responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate content.
  • Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all content before it is published or sent.
  • No Guarantee: We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will result in sales, accurate pricing, or compliance with marketplace policies.
  • Human Oversight: All AI-generated buyer communications require your approval before being sent. You maintain final control over all interactions.

Gleamz can help you draft listings, suggest pricing, and message buyers, but we do not guarantee that:

  • Your item will sell.
  • You will receive a specific price.
  • AI-generated content is error-free or optimal for every platform.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of photos, videos, voice recordings, descriptions, and other content you submit ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant Gleamz a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service.

AI Processing: By submitting content, you consent to having it processed by our AI systems and third-party AI providers (including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google) for the purpose of generating listings, pricing suggestions, and buyer communications. See our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is processed and protected.

If you request deletion of Your Content, we will remove it from active use, though some information may remain in backups or aggregated analytics for a limited time.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Sell illegal, stolen, counterfeit, or prohibited items.
  • Misrepresent your items or engage in deceptive practices.
  • Harass, spam, or defraud other users or buyers.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or misuse the Service or its underlying technology.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful behavior.

7. Third-Party Platforms & Payments

Gleamz may integrate with third-party marketplaces (e.g., eBay, Depop). Your use of these platforms is subject to their own terms. Gleamz is not responsible for:

  • Payment processing or disputes.
  • Shipping, returns, or fulfillment issues.
  • Actions taken by buyers or sellers on third-party platforms.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

IN NO EVENT WILL GLEAMZ BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) USD 50 or (b) the amounts you paid us in the three months before the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gleamz and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through your Settings page. Upon deletion:

  • All your items, listings, and conversations will be permanently deleted.
  • Connected marketplace accounts will be disconnected.
  • All uploaded media (photos, videos, audio) will be removed from our servers.
  • This action is irreversible.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. In such cases, you may lose access to your data.

11. Changes to the Service & Terms

Gleamz is in early access. Features may change, break, or be removed at any time. We may also update these Terms; if we make material changes, we'll notify you via email or the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Tel Aviv, Israel, unless otherwise required by law.
